Happy Today's Day!

In his book on Happiness (Essential Mindfulness Practices), Thich Nhat Hanh proposes we celebrate a new international holiday, which he calls "Today's Day." He explains that, "today is the most wonderful day. That doesn't mean yesterday wasn't wonderful. But yesterday is already gone. It doesn't mean tomorrow won't be wonderful. But tomorrow is not yet here. Today is the only day available to us right now, and we can take good care of it." Let's practice bringing peace in ourselves and in the world, starting today with our actions. Perhaps consider practicing some mindfulness, on or off the cushion. How will you celebrate today?
